Volleyball is a popular team sport played by two teams, typically consisting of six players on each side. The objective of the game is to score points by sending a ball over a net and into the opposing team's court in such a way that they cannot return it, The standard volleyball court is 18 meters long and 9 meters wide. A net divides the court into two halves, with the net height at 2.43 meters for men and 2.24 meters for women.
A rally starts with one team serving the ball. The receiving team must then pass, set, and spike the ball back over the net in a maximum of three touches.
Running races are a popular activity in school sports, designed to promote physical fitness, healthy competition, and fun among students. They come in various forms, from short sprints to longer-distance races, and are often part of sports days or physical education classes.
Types of Running Races in School
- Sprints: These are short-distance races, typically 50m, 100m, or 200m. The focus is on speed, and they are over quickly.
- Relay Races: A team race where each participant runs a set distance before passing a baton to the next runner. Relay races promote teamwork and coordination.
- Middle-Distance Races: These are usually 400m or 800m, requiring both speed and endurance.
